12:45 pm Check-in
1:00 pm Musicians: Assemble!
1:15 pm Ring It! Handbells Workshop
2:15 pm Break Time! With Snacks/Activity/Games
3:00 pm Play It - Sing It! Recital and Cash Prize Festival Competition
3:40 pm Way to Go For It! Presentation of Festival Competition winners and Junior Composers Competition winners
4:00 pm Check out
Details:
ALL juniors ages 6 - 18 are welcome at Junior Day! (cost is $15)
Cash Prize Festival Competition ($15 entry fee):
*Students will compete in categories according to Festival event level.
*Students who compete must have received at least 1 Superior at Festival - this year or a previous year.
*Students perform 1 piece from the current NFMC Festivals Bulletin.
Students who want to play or sing but not compete can perform 1 published piece in the Recital. (no entry fee)
Students who don't wish to perform will enjoy listening to and supporting their peers along with the rest of the juniors.
Registration is now open! (Due by April 1, 2026)
Teachers should submit the google registration form for their students, or parents can if they have all the needed information. Details for submitting payment* are in the form.
(*If submitting payment for multiple students, please write names in memo line of check or on a slip of paper.)
