I hope you have been encouraging your creative students to enter the Jr. Composers Contest. The benefits of composing are huge, and we never fail to be inspired and challenged by the comments of our excellent judges each year. Remember that in order to enter students in this contest your NFMC/AFMC membership must be up to date. All aspects of entering the contest are done through a portal on the national website.
Note that the state deadline for receipt of entries is January 15, 2022. The total entry fee is $18.00. (National fee is $5.00, State fee is $13.00, and the optional Gold Cup fee is $6.00.)
These fees will be payable by credit card when you complete your online registration.
